NEW DELHI: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said Bharat Jodo Yatra will have to be suspended if Covid norms are not followed. The health minister has sent a letter to Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Ashok Gehlot asking them to strictly follow preventive measures including masks during the ongoing yatra in Rajasthan.

The Union Health Minister's warning comes in the context of the threat of the fourth wave of Covid. He also requested through the letter to postpone the trip considering the health emergency if the covid prevention measures cannot be adopted.

In many places in the world, including China, Covid cases are rising sharply. In this situation, the union health minister has called a high-level meeting today. Matters including vaccination will be discussed in the meeting.
