NEW DELHI: Teacher, translator and critic M Thomas Mathew has bagged this year's Kendra Sahitya Akademi award.

His works include 'Danta Gopurathilekku Veendum, Ente Valmikamevide, Sahityadarshanam, Marar Lavanyanubhavathinte Yukthishilpam, Marubhoomiyil Vilichu Parayunnavante Shabdam, Sathyam Ningale Swathanthrarakkum, Manushyante Shabdam Sangeetham Pole, Swathanthryam Thanne Jeevitham, and Vazhi Thettiyo Namukku. He has collaborated in the translation of the Bible prepared by the KCBC Bible Commission.
