ALAPPUZHA: SFI activists at Alappuzha SD College locked up the principal. They locked the principal demanding to withdraw the decision dismissing two of their members. The SFI said that they will continue their stir until their demands are met.

The two SFI members were ousted after a clash between SFI and AISF activists this month. The South Police have registered case members of both sides on complaints related to the clash.

Meanwhile, a third-year BA student, Greeshma filed a complaint that her head was injured in the SFI attack and her gold wedding necklace is missing. SFI filed a complaint claiming that AISF activists attacked girls with sticks. However, AISF complained that SFI activists from outside the college entered the campus and attacked all the students.

The college authorities had said that action will be taken against students involved in the attacks. The college union election took place under police protection.
