NEW DELHI: Bharat Jodo Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has entered Delhi. On Saturday morning, Rahul and the yatris were received at the Faridabad border under the leadership of Delhi Congress president Anil Chaudhary. The Yatra entered the capital city by rejecting by the Union Health Minister's directive to follow the Covid protocol.
Party leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Kumari Selja and Randeep Surjewala also accompanied Rahul Gandhi. It is reported that Sonia Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi will also join Rahul.
On Friday, the central government asked the Congress leaders to stop the Yatra raising health concerns due to new variant of Covid-19.
"Common man of the country is now talking about love. In every state, lakhs have joined the yatra. I have told people of RSS and BJP that we are here to open shop of love in your 'bazar' of hatred. They spread hatred, we spread love," Mr. Gandhi said.
