THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Four people died in two road accidents in Kollam and Kozhikode in the wee hours of Christmas day.

One of the accidents happened when a speeding car lost control and crashed into a tree at Society Mukku in Kundara's Perumpuzha around 4 am. The deceased have been identified as Jobin D'Cruz (25) from Nanthirikal in Kundara and Agnal Sfeephan (25) from Mulavana in Perayam. Three people in the car were seriously injured. The accident happened as the friends were returning after Christmas celebrations.

The second accident occurred in Kozhikode when bikes collided. The accident took place at Kattilapeedika on the Kozhikode-Koyilandi National Highway. The deceased have been identified as Ashwin (18) and Deekshith (18), natives of Kuriyadi in Vadakara. The injured Sayanth was admitted to the medical college. Around 3.30 in the morning, the bike they were traveling in collided with the bike coming from the opposite direction. The youths were going to Vadakara after a festival.
