THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The serious allegations leveled by party state committee member P Jayarajan against LDF convener, CPM central committee member and senior leader EP Jayarajan are being considered by the CPM central leadership. It is reported that this matter will be actively discussed in the PB meeting on Monday and Friday. But this was not included in the agenda as it was a pre-scheduled meeting. However, this is likely to be taken as a serious allegation affecting the party.

In the meeting of the party's state committee held yesterday, P Jayarajan made severe financial allegations against EP Jayarajan. EP Jayarajan is a CPM central committee member and LDF convener. Although P Jayarajan is a member of the state committee, the party leadership is convinced that his words have more meaning as he was earlier the district secretary of Kannur. That is why party state secretary MV Govindan suggested that the allegation should be given in writing as soon as it was raised, which Jayarajan agreed. The allegation was made in the presence of the Chief Minister.

Jayarajan said in the committee meeting that EP Jayarajan had built a big resort and Ayurvedic establishment in Kannur and when he made this allegation earlier, changes were made in the board of directors of the company. The allegation was while participating in the discussion of the error correction document 'Samakalika Rashtreeya Sambhavangalum Sangadanarangathe Adiyanthara Kadamayum' (Contemporary Political Events and Urgent Duty in the Organization). EP Jayarajan, who has been on leave from the party for a long time, was not present in the meeting.

P Jayarajan did not confirm the news but refused to deny the allegations. Jayarajan told the state committee that there are many suspicions about the institution and he is raising it authentically and with good conscience. Earlier, P Jayarajan had made allegations in the Kannur district secretariat.

Vaidekam Resort is a 30 crore project

In 2014, a company named Kannur Ayurvedic Medical Care Pvt Ltd was formed at the address of a shop adjacent to EP Jayarajan's house in Aroli. It was registered with a capital of 3 crores.

Directors are Fida Ramesh, EP Jayarajan's wife PK Indira, son Jayson, Najeeb, Subhashini, Chaithanya Ganesh, Sujathan, Sudhakaran and Mohammad Ashraf. EP's son is the largest shareholder director.

Vaidekam Resort under the company is located in Vellikkeel, Morazha, near CPM State Secretary MV Govindan's house. The construction was done on top of a hill at a cost of 30 crores.

The hill was razed and leveled without the permission of the Revenue, Geology and Panchayat departments.

No links, says EP Jayarajan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As per indications, EP Jayarajan has given a letter to the CPM leadership stating that he has no links with the resort and that the establishment is related to one Ramesh Kumar of Thalassery.
