MALAPPURAM: Drunkards ganged up and attacked a children's Christmas carol group in Changaramkulam here. Five children were injured in the attack that took place last night. The children say that they were beaten and chased away for no reason. The gang also destroyed the musical instruments hired by the children for carol performances. The police arrived here after being informed by the locals, but the assailants managed to escape. The injured children have sought treatment. Police have launched a manhunt for the attackers.
