THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The National Service Scheme (NSS) has made a small doll named as ‘Killadi’ for the anti-drug campaign by the Education department. ‘Killadi’ has been portrayed as a strong warrior who fights against drug addiction. Following a tribal way of making, the doll is made using toothpicks, red and black coloured strings and glue. The four arms make ‘Killadi’ superpowerful. Red is a symbol of tremendous energy, unrelenting struggle and black symbolises resistance. It is very easy to make ‘Killadi’ doll and it is an innovative idea. In solidarity with 'No to Drugs' campaign, NSS will make 14 lakh anti-drug ‘Killadi ‘dolls in the 7-day camp 'Velicham 2022' and distribute them among the general public.
