THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The cashless payment method which has been implemented even in small stalls will be seen in KSRTC as well. With this, passengers can board the bus without carrying money, scan the QR code on the bus with your mobile phone, and once the amount is transferred, you will get the ticket from conductor. The QR code will also be displayed at the reservation counters. Minister Antony Raju will launch the scheme today.
KSRTC has launched rechargeable smart travel cards since last month for cashless payments. The travel card implemented in the Thiruvananthapuram district will be extended to other districts as well.
