THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The NIA has taken three persons into custody from Thiruvananthapuram during raids related to PFI. Sulfi, former PFI state committee member, his brother Sudhir and Salim, an employee of Sudhir's catering company, are in custody. The search which started in the morning at Sulfi's house ended a short while ago. The police said that weapons and digital evidence were found during the raid. Another person, Mubarak, a resident of Edavanakkad in Vyppin, is also in police custody. The NIA brought them to the Kochi office and is interrogating them.

The state-wide raids were conducted at 56 centres today. The raid is being conducted at the houses of second-tier leaders, those who provided training to the party activists and those who provided financial support.
