THRISSUR: An auto was damaged after an arch placed in front of the Thrissur Corporation Office collapsed. The arch of the shopping festival collapsed. Auto driver Johnny of Avinisseri and a pedestrian identified as Mercy Antony of Kaveed in Guruvayur sustained injuries. Both have been admitted at the Thrissur district hospital.

The arch placed across the road collapsed. Transportation came to a standstill for some time after the incident. The arch made of iron pipe was cut and removed. Arches and LED lights have been installed in many parts of the city as part of the shopping festival.
