WAYANAD: A 23-year-old youth was electrocuted during the construction of the roof of a house. The dead has been identified as Ajin James alias Unni of Thrissileri Varinilam Nediyanikal. The accident happened last evening. Reports said that he suffered a shock from the welding holder.

Ajin suffered the shock while welding the iron wire of the roof.

Though he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance from the medical college, his life could not be saved.

The body after an inquest by a team led by Mananthavady sub inspector K K Sob, has been shifted to the mortuary of Wayanad Govt Medical College. He is the son of James alias Chacko and Vineetha. Archana is his sibling.
