NEW DELHI: Union minister Amit Shah affirmed that the wait won’t be long for the RAM mandir in Ayodhya to turn a reality. Shah’s assertion came while flagging off the rath yatra in Tripura. To much surprise, the union minister revealed the date of completion as January 1, 2024.
Going political, Shah said it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s determination that ensured fast pace progress to the much-revered Ram mandir in Ayodhya. Shah then accused congress of hindering the construction works for all these years. If completed, the century-long dispute over the temple will reach its tail end during January 2024, invariably helping BJP to fortify its clout ahead of the decisive parliamentary elections.
