THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a shocking incident, a KSRTC bus rammed from behind into the motorbikes waiting for a traffic signal in Thiruvananthapuram. The incident took place at Killippalam junction in Thiruvananthapuram. No one was injured in the accident. However, the KSRTC bus and motorbikes were damaged. The KSRTC bus coming from Kanyakumari to Thiruvananthapuram caused the accident.
Following the incident, a dispute broke out between the locals and the KSRTC employees. The locals alleged that the driver was drunk. Later, the police reached the spot and took the driver for a medical examination. According to the KSRTC driver, the cause of the accident was brake failure. Meanwhile, some locals alleged that the mechanic from Pappanamcode depot tried to remove the brake of the bus after the accident.
The KSRTC bus rammed into 4 motorbikes and one autorickshaw. One motorbike was completely damaged in the accident.
