PATHANAMTHITTA: Elanthoor double human sacrifice rocked the conscience of the Keralites and the waves of it haven't subsided yet. Now reports of some concerning developments here begin to surface again. Back when the police busted the crime, they did not investigate the presence of two more graves in the compound of Bhagwal Singh's house in Elanthoor, where the double human sacrifice took place, even though local residents expressed their suspicion that day. These are similar to where the bodies of the murdered Padma and Rosli were hidden.

Local residents told 'Kerala Kaumudi' that these were shown to the police during the investigation of the double murder. If further investigation is not carried out, the locals are planning to file a complaint with the higher police officials.

These graves are covered with vines. One is adjacent to the backyard where bluebell vine has grown. The second is near the area where Padma was buried. Locals said that even before the human sacrifice came to light, there was a stench coming from these pits. Police dogs stayed at these two locations for a long time while the human sacrifice investigation was underway.

The information about the human sacrifice came out on October 11 last. Residents of the area said that they tipped off the police about the other two pits while searching for the remains. Senior police officers who reached the spot were also informed about this. At that time, the police replied that only the missing cases of Padma and Rosli are currently being investigated.

However, it is alleged that the police did not carry out the inspection to avoid having to go through the trouble of possible additional investigations. At the same time, the police say that despite detailed interrogation, the accused only revealed the information about the murder of Padma and Rosli. No other complaints have been received.
