KOTTAYAM: Three persons, who fell ill after drinking liquor they got from the road, were admitted to the hospital. The incident took place this morning in Adimali in Kottayam. The admitted are Anil Kumar, Kunjumon and Manoj. Kunjumon has been admitted to the intensive care unit.

A friend of the youths got the liquor bottle from the road. He then gave it to them. After drinking alcohol, the trio started vomiting and got extremely weak. The person who first got the bottle did not drink it.

The youths were initially admitted to the Adimali Taluk Hospital. After his condition worsened, he was transferred to Kottayam Medical College. Police said they are looking for more information.
