KOCHI: A 21-year-old woman, who used to sell deadly drugs from midnight to early morning, has been arrested. The woman delivering drugs to the 'locations' handed over by the needy, was arrested by the excise after months-long investigation, She sells the drugs carrying on her scooter. The arrested is Blessy, a native of Kollam and a student of a private institution in Ernakulam. It was found that a native of Kozhikode was supplying large quantities of MDMA to her and seven people including him were the masterminds of the drug trade. Investigation has been intensified for them.

More than 2.5 grams of MDMA was recovered from her rented flat. The three women who stayed with her are also suspected to be involved in the drug business. Blessy, daughter of a fisherman, came to Kochi to study aviation course. Instead of going to class, she entered for work at a spa. When she lost the job, she turned into drug dealings. The excise officers reached her flat in Ernakulam North and arrested her on Tuesday. A native of Kozhikode rented her the flat. Apart from this, he has also rented two flats. More people are suspected to be involved.

Rs 7000 per day
The drug dealing which starts at 2:30 in the morning ends at 7 am. The drugs will be delivered to at least seven points daily. She used to get Rs 7000 daily. She led a luxurious life. She told her family that she was working in Kochi. After 'work', she used to sleep the whole night.

Insta deal
The excise got the details of her from a youth caught with MDMA in Kaloor. On investigation it was found that all communications were done through Instagram and it was controlled by some others. After confirming the drug trade by messaging through Instagram, the girl's flat was found. To avoid getting caught she was using net using hotspot and avoided SIM. Excise officials informed that they need to find the woman’s phone.
