VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh government has allocated Rs 1 crore for the treatment of three-year-old Honey, who is suffering from a rare genetic disease. The girl's parents met Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and thanked him for helping him in the treatment.
Honey has been undergoing treatment for Gaucher disease for a long time. The treatment of this rare disorder requires a lot of money. Honey's economically backward family could not afford this cost. With the CM's timely intervention, the girl's family now has a ray of hope.
