NEW DELHI: BJP president JP Nadda on Monday said that the party leaders must ensure that the party does not lose even one of the nine assembly elections to be held this year. Senior leader Ravi Shankar Prasad stated that Nadda gave this direction in the BJP national executive meeting.
Nadda, who said that BJP should put up a strong fight in all nine assembly elections this year, added that the party cannot lose in even one election. He also asked the leaders to repeat the same in the 2024 general elections.
"The Prime Minister had said that the party should identify the booths in the country where it is weak. 72,000 such booths were identified earlier. Today, the national president said that the party has been strengthened in 1.30 lakh booths," Ravi Shankar Prasad said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP President JP Nadda, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, and other senior leaders attended the meeting.
