MUMBAI: The feud between actress Urfi Javed and BJP leader Chitra Wagh has taken a new turn after the actress filed a complaint with the Maharashtra State Commission for Women. As per the complaint, the BJP leader has publicly threatened to attack Urfi and she seeks security after feeling unsafe in Maharashtra.
The actress also stated that she wears these types of clothes as part of her work. "I am working in the fashion industry related to cinema, my living conditions and appearance are professionally necessary", her complaint reads. Urfi alleged that Chitra has called for attacks on her for fame and political gain.
"The right of free movement is given to every Indian by the constitution, feeling unsafe in a city like Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, is a serious matter. Therefore, the Mumbai Police Commissioner should take immediate action on this. The report should be submitted to the State Commission for Women", the complaint adds.
Chitra had earlier filed a complaint with the police regarding the actress's objectionable clothes and public nudity. After this, the police questioned Urfi for two hours.
