NEW DELHI: The Union Government on Wednesday released the statement showing the state-wise distribution of net proceeds of Union Taxes and Duties for Budget Estimates 2023-24. Kerala received a share of Rs 19,662.88 crore (1.925 %). The state had received a share of Rs 15,720.5 crore in the 2022-23 budget.
While funds were allocated to the central institutions in the state, the allocation was increased to institutes such as Kozhikode NIT, Palakkad IIT, Valiamala Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology.
