NEW DELHI: Ministry of External Affairs has informed that an Indian national has gone missing in the Turkey earthquake. He is a native of Bengaluru who had visited Turkey for business purposes. The Ministry informed that ten Indians are trapped there and they are safe.

At the same time, India sent more aid to Turkey and Syria. Two NDRF teams arrived in Turkey as part of the mission named Operation Dost, along with seven vehicles, four police dogs, and 101 rescue workers including five women. A control room has been set up in Adana, Turkey, as the death toll from the earthquake in Turkey and Syria has crossed 11,000. 8,574 people died in Turkey and 2,662 in Syria. With this, the death toll has reached 11236.
