THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president K Surendran has lampooned state yuva jana commission chief Chintha Jerome saying the latter should be bashed with a broom drenched in urine. The opprobrium from the BJP chief went further when he questioned Chintha’s exploits after being seated in the chief position. “Nobody can answer her profession or the work she did for the betterment of youths in Kerala. The ignominy of using a resort for her stay will stick with her for a long. Her audacity to still lie to people is commendable in all respects,” said BJP state president K Surendran.

The criticism also went straight to the chief minister. Surendran said the chief minister's contribution falls less even than a cow which is doing more for the state. "A cow is essential in farming and contributes well to the state by all means. The current government in Kerala is under the shackles of the mafia. The Kerala Budget was an abomination and the BJP will move ahead with protests of all sorts." The BJP president also said that the center is helping in the economic revival of Kerala and has given Rs 100 crore for the Angamaly-Sabari track development. But the government is lackadaisical in its move to make the best use of the contribution from the central government.
