PATHANAMTHITTA: Revenue Minister K Rajan has responded to the shoddy misuse of leaves taken by employees of the Konni taluk office. The minister informed that he held a discussion with the land revenue commissioner. The minister has also asked for a report by today night from the ADM. Earlier, Konni MLA KU Jenish Kumar also informed the minister about the lax show by the employees. “All employees who took leave should give an explanation. An immediate response from the Pathanamthitta collector is awaited. Taking mass leave will never be entertained” minister K Rajan informed.

Out of 60 employees present, only 21 made it to the office today. 39 employees took leave to go on picnic leaving the people in distress who rammed to the office unknowing of the development. The issue was quick to grab headlines after which the Konni MLA reached the spot and condemned the activities.
