THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A fire broke out in a two-storey aquarium at DPI Junction near Vazhuthacaud. Heavy smoke is rising in the area. The shop is owned by Ajil. Three units of the fire brigade from Chengalchoola are trying to put out the fire.

It is indicated that this place was not a permanent location where people used to stay. All the people of three nearby houses were evacuated. It is indicated that the aquarium godown and the welding work required for the construction of the aquarium were operating here. About three persons were present here at the time of the accident and they ran away immediately after the accident.
