The trailer of Christy, starring Mathew Thomas and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles, has been released. From the trailer, Christy looks like a teenage love story. The movie is directed by newcomer Alvin Henry. Alvin's story is scripted by renowned writers Benjamin and GR Indugopan. The film is based on true events.

Music of the movie is composed by Govind Vasantha. Lyrics are by Vinayak Sasikumar. The songs of the film had made it to the hit charts. Christy is Malavika Mohanan's return to Malayalam cinema after a long gap.

The film also stars Joy Mathew, Vineeth Viswam, Rajesh Madhavan, Muthumani, Jaya S Kurup, Veena Nair, Neena Kurup, Manju Pathrose and Urmila Krishnan. Anend C Chandran has done the cinematography. The film is produced by Sajay Sebastian and Kannan Satheesan under the banner of Rocky Mountain Cinemas. The film will hit theatres on February 17.
