CHANGARAMKULAM: The police arrested a youth on the eve of his engagement after a Dalit woman filed a sexual assault complaint. Changaramkulam police arrested Mohammad Ansar (27) at Kokur Kannathvalappu. The Dalit woman, a native of Tamil Nadu, has been living near the man’s house. The complaint is that he took advantage of this and sexually assaulted her. Ponnani Judicial Magistrate Court remanded the arrested youth.
