KOZHIKODE: The relatives of Vishwanathan (46), an Adivasi youth, who was found hanging near the government medical college, have demanded a detailed investigation on his death. His relatives said that Vishwanathan will not commit suicide and was beaten to death. Viswanathan of Paravayal Colony in Kalpetta, was found hanging near the medical college, where his wife was admitted for delivery. He was beaten up by the mob accusing him of theft. His relatives said the body had beat marks. ‘Vishwanathan was happy seeing his baby got after eight years of marriage. He did not even see the baby properly. Vishwanathan went missing on Friday morning. Had reached the medical college police station that morning to file a complaint. The police informed about the death on Saturday morning.
