THRISSUR: A young biker died after rods that were carried in the lorry pierced his body. Shradesh (21), a resident of Pudukkad, died. The accident happened in Chemboothra, Thrissur. The tarpaulin sheet of the lorry which was carrying concrete rods flew off and the driver hit the brakes bringing the lorry to a sudden stop. Shradesh's bike rammed into the lorry.

Rods pierced into Shradesh's neck and chest. He was taken to the hospital but could not be saved. The police registered a case in the incident.
