WAYANAD: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Monday visited the family of Thomas, who was killed in a tiger attack in Thondernad in Wayanad. Rahul Gandhi, who reached the house at Puthussery at 3.50 pm, spent 15 minutes with the family of Thomas. The family briefed him about the situation that led to Thomas's death and the steps taken by the government after his death. Rahul consoled the family and said that has already brought the matters of wild animal attacks and medical negligence to the notice of the Chief Minister.

Rahul Gandhi assured the family that he will be with them in all matters and that he will bring the issues raised by the family to the attention of the central and state governments.
