KODAGU: The Karnataka Forest Department has captured a tiger that attacked and killed two members of the same family in Kutta on the Kerala-Karnataka border. The killer tiger was caught at around 4 pm today after forest officers shot a tranquillizer.
The tiger had killed two members of the same family hours apart. With this, the locals staged a protest demanding the capture of the tiger. Following this, a 150-member forest department team started the search for the tiger. A 10-year-old tiger was caught. The tiger will be taken to Koorgalli in Mysuru for an expert examination.
