supreme-court

NEW DELHI: The ദrthodox and the Jacobite section engaged in a fierce rhetorical inside the supreme court over a draft bill stating the dispute between the two sects. The Jacobite section promised to produce this bill inside the Kerala assembly to which the Orthodox replied that the Kerala government won't hasten such a move. Amid this tussle of words, the court queried about which section the god is currently in, which resulted in chuckles to side splitting laughs inside the court.

The two sections approached with contempt of court regarding the 1934 Malankara sabha rulebook that included the final verdict of the supreme court in the running of the church. The bench headed by Justice V Ramasubramanyam cleared that the court will not enter into the merit of the case but will consider the contempt of court matter. The case has been adjourned to March 14th.
