ALAPPUZHA: A running car caught fire near Haripad Madhava Junction on the national highway. Karuvatta native Akshay, who was driving the car, jumped out and escaped. The fire force reached the spot and extinguished the fire. The car was being taken from Karuvatta to a workshop in Kayamkulam.
