THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A new circular has been released regarding the delayed salary distribution to KSRTC employees. Those employees in urgent need of money will be paid in the first term before the 5th of March. The rest of the payment will resume only after the government completes its other financial commitments. More than half of the salary to be paid has been acquired in profits by the KSRTC. This profit procured will be used to pay the salaries during the first term. those employees unwilling to proceed with the new circular should give their testament to the department by the 25th of this month.
Meanwhile, the High Court directed the management to pay the Rs one lakh of pension money to retired officers within the 31st of March. The court amended the earlier made date of 28th to 31st of March after repeated beseeching from the management.
Employees in dire need of financial assistance to conduct marriage or for any health-related treatments can be given high priority. The court also directed the management to reinstate the corpus fund. With the timely inflow of money into the fund, the payment should no longer go stalled, said the court.
