ALAPPUZHA: A 37-year-old youth was stabbed to death during a dispute between friends. The incident happened at Mullikulangara in Mavelikkara. The dead is Sajesh, a painter of Umbernadu in Mavelikkara. The accused in the case, Vinod (Vettukathi Vinod) of Vishnu Bhavanam in Umbernadu is absconding. The police have intensified search for him.ർ

The attack took place at 11:30 pm last night near Ashwathy Junction in the 19th Ward of Thekekkara panchayat. Sajesh was stabbed in the muscle of his left arm. He died on way to Kottayam Medical College Hospital. Initial reports said excessive bleeding is the cause of his death.
