KOZHIKODE: A two-wheeler passenger met a tragic end after being run over by a KSRTC bus. The accident took place near Perampra Kakkad around 12 noon today. Hanifa, a native of Kakkad, died. The accident happened when the car in front of Hanifa braked suddenly while trying to avoid the collision.
The car suddenly stopped after seeing the KSRTC bus coming in the opposite direction after overtaking the two-wheelers. While avoiding hitting this car, the bus ran over Hanifa, who lost control and fell onto the road. The bus which was going towards Kuttiadi caused the accident. Hanifa died on the spot. The body has been shifted to the hospital.
