KOZHIKODE: Black colour is again banned in the function attended by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Black clothes and masks have been banned. The restrictions were imposed in a programme attended by the chief minister at Government Arts and Science College in Meenchanda, Kozhikode. The college authorities have given instructions in this regard.

Black flags were waved at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at two places in Chalissery, Palakkad. Youth Congress workers protested with black flags. To overcome the protest, the chief minister flew in a helicopter from Kochi to Palakkad. There is heavy security for the chief minister following widespread Congress protests on fuel cess.

Z Plus security is provided to the chief minister. The chief minister's car will be behind the first and the second pilots. Two escort vehicles, a striker force of commandos and another car will accompany the chief minister's vehicle. There will be forty policemen with the chief minister.
