PATNA: A student appeared for her class 10 exam just hours after giving birth in Bihar. The student arrived in an ambulance to write the exam three hours after giving birth to the baby. 22-year-old Rukmini Kumari is the student.
Rukmini Kumari, who studies at a government school in Banka district, gave birth to her baby on the day of her Science exam. She later responded that she wrote the exam to set a good example for the child she gave birth to. The doctors and relatives told her to take rest without taking the exam but Rukmini Kumari was refused. But she was adamant. Due to this, the hospital authorities decided to arrange an ambulance. Health workers were also arranged for help.
Meanwhile, Rukmini Kumari responded to the media that she wrote the exam well and hoping to get a good score. Rukmini, who was pregnant, felt uneasy when she wrote the Maths exam last Tuesday. After the examination, she was admitted to the hospital. Rukmini gave birth to a baby boy the next morning. District Education Officer Pawan Kumar said that Rukmini, who belongs to Scheduled Castes, is an inspiration to all.
