KANNUR: Akash Thillankeri posted a Facebook post against former health minister KK Shailaja's personal staff member Ragind. Akash accused Ragind of tarnishing the glory of martyrdom. Akash was responding to his friend Jijo Thillankeri's Facebook post.

In his comment, Akash says that Ragind had insulted a comrade, who is accused in the murder of an RSS worker, and his family in his social media post. Thus, he tarnished the glory of martyrdom.

“Does the decency which was not shown by Ragind, should be shown by those who were insulted by him? People who are justifying him are hurting the family which was insulted by Ragind.”, he wrote.

Meanwhile, KK Shailaja's responded that let the party look into Akash Thillankeri's allegations. “As an individual, there is no need for me to comment. Akash Thillankeri has no connection with CPM. Akash is not affiliated with the party. I only have stories about the Facebook post in my mind. If the allegations are true, I will think about it and decide late.”, Shailaja said.
