THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CITU vice president AK Balan has criticised Transport Minister Antony Raju for justifying the decision to pay salary in two instalments in KSRTC. AK Balan said that the minister's stand was against the policy of the LDF government. He also accused the minister of unilaterally taking a decision on the issue affecting KSRTC employees as a whole.

"After announcing that the KSRTC will pay salary in instalments, the minister said that he is ready to hold talks if necessary. This is against the government's policy. The management is trying to bring workers to an organization. The minister should be able to recognize this. Management has some other agenda behind the decision to pay salary in instalments," Balan said.
