KANNUR: The Kerala government has approached the court with a plea to cancel the bail allotted to Shuhaib murder convict and CPM follower Akash Thillenkery. Through police, the government initiated actions to put the rebel CPM youngster from Kannur behind bars. The police have submitted a petition that says Akash breached the norms to be followed while on bail. The petition was submitted in Thallasery sessions court. It was back in 2019 that the high court granted conditional bail for the Shuhaib murder case convict Akash Thillenkery.
The high court while granting bail warned Akash to not entangle in any other case. However, the CPM follower from Kannur now has in his kitty two other cases in which, one is insulting womanhood through social media accounts. If the court discerns the happenings and moves ahead, the chances stay high of the bail getting canceled.
Recently, Akash created a ruckus within the insider factions of CPM by revealing in public the Shuhaib murder conspiracy. The youngster went on renegade mode and said they carried out the murder just as underlings but followed dutifully the commands of the CPM top brass. It is now being accused that it is the CPM leaders who are restless and need the young rebel to go behind the bars before spouting other shocking revelations. Yesterday, a close aide of Akash revealed on Facebook, the chances of them getting killed in one month. He later deleted the post.
