HYDERABAD: An anonymous call on Tuesday threatening that a bomb was in the Hyderabad airport kept the security personnel on their toes. A bomb threat was received on a flight departing from Hyderabad Rajiv Gandhi International Airport to Chennai.

The airport security immediately checked the flight and evacuated all the passengers onboard. Then they learnt that the hoax call was made by a passenger who had booked a ticket in the Chennai-bound flight. He made the call as he was running late to catch the flight. The police identified the suspect and arrested him. The police said that a criminal case will be filed against him.
