KANNUR: Party investigation against DYFI central committee member M Shajar on the complaint that he has accepted gold from Akash Thillankeri. The investigation is being conducted on the complaint of Manu Thomas, a member of the district committee of the party. It has been alleged in the complaint that Shajar was leaking party secrets to Akash. District Secretariat member M Surendran is investigating the complaint.

Shajar, who participated in a public meeting organized by CPM in Thillankeri last day, criticized Akash Thillankeri in harsh language. Shajar had criticized that Akash turned the village Thillankeri into a ‘thirittu gramam’ in front of the media . Following this, the information came out that the party has received a complaint that Shajar is accused of being close to Akash Thillenkeri. The picture of Akash Thillankeri being awarded a trophy by M Shajar at a function held earlier in Vanjeri was also controversial.

Meanwhile, CPM Kannur district secretary MV Jayarajan told a private channel that the allegation that the party had ordered an inquiry against Shajar is a lie. He said that this is only a fake news to mislead the people and no investigation is going on.
