modi-helping-pakistan

NEW DELHI: Former Research and Analysis Wing chief Amarjith Singh Dulat feels that Indian prime minister Narendra Modi will reach a détente with neighboring Pakistan in a bid to help the country free from the abyss of a financial quagmire.

“ Any time is a good time to talk with Pakistan. I have a deep feeling that Mr. Modi will reach out a hand of support to neighboring Pakistan in the coming months. Nothing is official but I feel so” said an optimistic AS Dulat.

Indian foreign minister S Jaishankar with his acute acerbic has warned that before helping the neighboring nation, one should understand the general conscience of the nation. He also added that a nation devoted to terrorism, even if helped will detour back into the same pit of violence. He also added that the only chasm restricting the two nations from friendly talk is terrorism.

Pakistan is currently in tangles with wrecked finance and has reached out to IMF and many other allies on international turf to help save the country upend the financial doom. However, most nations are still apprehensive about donating since the country has an absurd history of directing every moolah to help sprout terrorism.
