RAIPUR: The Congress Plenary Session has called upon the party activists to be ready for elections with adequate preparations. The plenary session has called upon the leaders and activists to prepare for the upcoming state assembly elections. It has also been demanded that special attention should be paid to Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Chhattisgarh where the elections are taking place. The results in these states are crucial in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The Congress Plenary Session has also called for progress with discipline and unity to regain the glory of the party. The plenary session has made announcements that will help them to gain a place in the hearts of the farmers in order to win the elections. Steps will be taken to waive off farmers' debt. They announced that if Congress returns to power, then debt up to Rs.6 lakh will be written off. This was added in the agriculture resolution passed by the Congress Plenary Session. Congress assures that there will be no confiscation of farmers' land and no criminal action against farmers. The resolution also promises to ensure minimum prices for all crops in the country. The Congress also promises to conduct a caste census in the country targeting Dalit votes.

Wayanad MP and former president Rahul Gandhi, who spoke at the Congress plenary meeting today, launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Stating that Adani and Modi are one and the same, Rahul lashed out at the central government's policies that made Adani super rich. He accused Modi of not answering the questions raised by him on the issue and for calling those who criticized him as traitors.
