THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: 25-year-old Keralite Hassan Aman was the youngest delegate in the Congress plenary session concluded on Sunday in Raipur. The session was attended by 15,000 people.
Even the leaders get the opportunity to participate in the plenary after waiting for years, but Hassan was blessed to be the National Coordinator in charge of the Jawahar Bal Manch. Son of Kozhikode native Abdul Razak and Nusrat, Hassan is a post graduate student of Political Science in Delhi university. Hassan told Kerala Kaumudi that he considers it as a recognition.
“Rahul Gandhi's words to increase the representation of youth in the party give me great energy. I hope that the Congress-led government will come to power in 2024 by building opposition unity.”, Hassan said.
Despite not being an official participant on the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Hassan walked with Rahul Gandhi for 80 days. He was unable to participate for 30 days as he returned home having chicken pox. He had the opportunity to talk to Rahul Gandhi three times. Rahul discussed organizational matters with Hassan for ten minutes in Kashmir. During his degree studies, he attended the concluding session of the Delhi plenary session of Congress as a representative of NSU (I). Hassan's family members and Congress activists in Farook are excited about his participation in the plenary session. The goal is to become a full-time activist to revive the organization.
Hassan Aman has been a part of the Jawahar Bal Manch since the age of ten. Manch aims to spread democratic and secular values by organizing children between the ages of 7 and 18.
