THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan responded on the convory of vehicles as part of his security. Even if someone else were in my post, the convoy would have remained the same. The chief minister replied in the house that it should not be seen as his particular weakness. The chief minister also stated that he is traveling according to the norms of the security review committee of the ministry of home affairs.
The chief minister replied that he is not replying to the opposition leader's statement that the chief minister will have to sit at home and will not be able to leave the house, because he was not the old Vijayan. 'If I was the old Vijayan, I would have replied long ago. That answer is not what is needed now,' he said.
It is quite natural that one in the post of chief minister, will have to face such criticism. It should be answered with patience.
