NEW DELHI: The Delhi liquor scam arrested deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia has been given to custody after a court order. The court decided on the verdict to allot five days of custody after a request from the CBI. Senior advocate Dayan Krishnan appeared for Manish Sisodia. CBI judge A N Nagpal produced the judgment which will make Sisodia restrict himself in custody till March 4th.
Following the arrest, the AAP party workers stormed to streets in Delhi, Chandigarh, and Bhopal to protest. In front of the BJP office in Deenn Dayal Upadhyaya Marg, the AAP protest resulted in a skirmish with the paramilitary forces arresting many party workers to bring back normalcy.

Delhi has been beefed up with security after reports emerged about the AAP workers planning unrest in the city. The AAP workers also hurled beer bottles and placards at the police forces.
