KASARGOD: Two arrested for stealing KSEB transformer. Manikantan and Pushparaj, natives of Tamil Nadu, were arrested. They were caught by the police at Peringoth in Kasaragod.

The transformer was stolen on Tuesday night. A transformer which was kept for replacement as part of the construction of the hill highway at Ariyirithi under Chittarikkal KSEB Nallompuzha section went missing. The accused were caught while transporting the stolen transformer. The police said that both of them have been doing scrap business in Nileswaram Pallikkara for many years.
