THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister PA Mohammad Riyas on Thursday criticized the Congress for not having the capacity to carry out an anti-BJP campaign. "Neither Rahul nor Priyanka set foot in Tripura. They are not able to bring back those who left Congress and joined the BJP", the minister said. The minister's reaction came after the defeat of the CPM-Congress alliance in the Tripura elections.
"Opposition in Kerala is like the safety valve of a pressure cooker. A central government-sponsored strike is being conducted in Kerala. The Assembly should have protested the hike in cooking gas prices together. But the opposition is waging a struggle against the state government as a 'suicide attacker' of BJP, Riyas added.
